Today’s topic was the journal of a disciple and we learned what is a disciple’s journal all about. As disciples, we are followers of Christ and a disciple’s journal is a record of events and happenings of a disciple’s daily walk with God. Through the topic, we were challenged to have the faith of bible disciples like Moses, Noah, Samuel, David, Joseph and Abraham. Faith that not just trust but faith that obeys and perseveres based on that trust and that faith is based on our knowledge of who God is.
Continue to press on in faith as you fill each day of your journal with your walk with God.

YM started 2010 with a blast from the past as leaders from the YM team dressed up as heroes of faith from the old Abraham to young Joseph. After the wacky icebreaker session, the sec ones were welcomed with a wholesome warm handshake from the older youths!
For the message, Kelvin shared the BPYM mission statement to set the tone of the YM:
Bukit Panjang Gospel Chapel Youth Ministry endeavours to help christian youths HONOUR God as they GROW as disciples of Christ, BUILD one another in their faith, SERVE Him with their gifts and REACH out to non-believing youths.
At the end, we broke up into our groups for a time of sharing and knowing one another UNGAME style!
May God’s grace carry us through the year of 2010 to bring glory to His name!
